- PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED AND HOW WE COLLECT IT
Personal information is information about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable. We provide a range of products and services to businesses.
If you are a potential client or actual client of ours, the personal information that we collect and maintain generally includes your name, the company you work for, your position and your contact information, sales and support history and interest relating to our products and services. For example, we may need to collect personal information about you from you to provide you with further services or to answer or forward any requests or enquiries you may have.
If you apply for a job role with us or are employed by us, we collect information from you, including during, as applicable, the course of your employment or contract arrangement with us. We may collect information about you when you submit it to us. In some circumstances, the personal information we collect about you is held by a third party, for example, when we perform background checks that are necessary for the role to be performed by you. We may also generate information about you during your employment or contract arrangement with us.
We generally collect personal information about you from you, but in some circumstances, we may receive personal information about you from third parties. For example, we may collect personal information about you from third parties such as through recruitment agencies, social media (such as LinkedIn), research companies, from information service providers (such as Zoominfo), event organisers in respect of events, conferences or education sessions you have registered or attended or referrals from other third parties. We may also collect information about your from publicly available sources, including websites, social media and public databases.
- WHY WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We collect personal information so that we may verify your identity, communicate with you, administer our client relationships, provide products and services, assist with technical support and other issues related to our products and services, monitor and improve our content, website and services and send information to our client’s employees about our products, services or general information we believe may be of interest to them, including relevant timely marketing messages.
We will not collect personal information unless it is reasonably necessary for, or directly related to, one or more of our functions or activities. You can choose not to provide your personal information to us. However, if you choose not to provide your personal information or we are unable to collect the information we reasonably require, it may mean that we are unable to provide you with our products and services.
- HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may use personal information about you for the primary purpose of providing you with our products and services, and for which you would reasonably expect us to use that information, including sending you information about new developments, products and services that may be of interest to you. You authorise us to use any email address or other contact information you provide to us at any time for this purpose. You can, at any time, opt out of receiving commercial electronic messages (e.g., emails and SMS) from us by using the unsubscribe facility in any commercial electronic message. Regardless of whether you opt-out of any or all commercial electronic messages, you will still receive information we are required by law to provide to you or product or service-based communications.
We also use personal information to conduct statistical analyses, surveys and research (including market research) to enhance existing, and develop new products and services, including improvements to our website.
Where you are a job applicant or work for us (either as an employee or contractor), we use personal information about you: (i) to fulfil our obligations and exercise our rights arising out of our relationship with you, such as processing your information for the purposes of remunerating you, reimbursing, expenses, furnishing benefits and other related matters; (ii) to meet our legal and regulatory obligations as your employer (as applicable); and (iii) to meet our legitimate business interests, namely for people and administrative management purposes including resource planning, development and career planning, for the management and maintenance of our IT network, for auditing, security and compliance purposes, and for purposes of internal investigations and disciplinary procedures.
- WHO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH
We may engage contractors and third-party service providers to provide you with aspects of our services on our behalf. In that circumstance, we may disclose your personal information to these contractors and third-party services providers for this purpose. In all circumstances, these contractors and third-party service providers are contractually required to keep your personal information confidential and to use your personal information for the sole purpose of performing the services we have engaged them to provide.
We may disclose your personal information:
- With any affiliate or subsidiary of, and any company owned and controlled by us
- If some or all of the business of Bryk Group is transferred to another entity by way of merger, sale of its assets or otherwise
- If we are required to do so by law
- WHERE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS STORED
To provide our products and services, your personal information is accessed from and stored in Australia. From time to time, some of our service providers may be located or use locations outside of Australia. If we share personal information overseas, we take steps to ensure that our service providers are obliged to protect this personal information in accordance with Australian legal requirements and that they are only permitted to use personal information for the purpose for which it was shared.
We strive to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of personal information you provide to us. We also review and update our security measures in light of current technologies. Whilst all reasonable precautions are taken to protect your personal information, unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure at all times.
However, we will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information you may transmit to us or from our online products and services. Once we do receive your transmission, we will also make our best efforts to ensure its security on our systems.
In addition, our employees and the contractors and third-party service providers who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us.

We will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any personal information which we hold about you, and to keep this information accurate and up to date. If, at any time, you discover that personal information held about you is incorrect, you may contact us at the details set out in section 10 below to have the information corrected.
